Flam Chen returns to light up Bisbee's City Park.
Come out for the costumes, stilt walking, martial dance and aerialists suspended from huge helium balloons!

9:30pm-10:30pm Traditional Bisbee New Year Lantern Parade
11:15pm City Park opens for Finale seating (musical performance)
11:45pm-12:30am Flam Chen "Toy Box" Finale Spectacle
12:30am-1:00pm Dancing and wrap-up

Kids Workshops.
Free stilt walking, poi-spinning and lantern making workshops.

This is a free event thanks to the generosity of Flam Chen and the Bisbee Arts Commission, and many local businesses and individuals like you, who chip in to help cover the costs.

Workshop Schedule:

Stilt Walking -- 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm Sunday 12/27, Monday 12/28 and Tuesday 12/29. Final practice is 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Thursday New Year's Eve.
Workshops will be held in the Central School parking lot at:
43 Howell Ave.

Flam Chen will be teaching Stilt walking and Poi Spinning workshops for kids in the week between Christmas and New Years. These are Free to the public and a great way to get your kids involved in healthy activities.

Kids can get involved in stilt walking, poi-spinning and lantern making workshops during the week leading up to the event.

They then get to parade their new skills and creations in the evening leading up to the Finale.

We need all the help we can get: Artists to make lanterns, adults to supervise kids, crowd monitors, certified first aid people, next day clean-up crew, and every type of street performer.

Donation Ticket Raffle.

Help put on the New Year’s Eve celebration with Flam Chen! Every $10 you donate gets you one donation raffle ticket. The top three prizes are a ride up in Flam Chen’s balloon rig! One of those three winners will actually be a part of the Finale presentation and get to float 100 feet above the crowd in City Park. The other two winners will get their rides later that night or the next morning. Rides will only be given if Flam Chen deems all contributing factors to be safe. The rides may be cancelled for any reason including: weather, wind, equipment issues, rider’s physical condition or weight (must weigh less than 180lbs.), etc.

Remember, all donations are tax deductible to the extent of the law. Many Mouths One Stomach is a Flam Chen affiliated 501(c)3 non-profit parent organization and works to build healthy communities through the arts. The more each individual gets involved in creating events and activities in our town, the stronger our community becomes. You can contribute time, creativity, resources or money, whatever works for you. This is the fun way to do your part.
