The 19th Annual Bisbee 1000 Race. The 5k That Feels Like A 10k!

The Great Stair Climb takes place every year in or around October.
Registration and race start Saturday Morning. The ever rigorous Ice Man Competition is later morning Saturday. Awards Ceremony at noon, with special awards, entertainment and prizes, followed by a Raffle and Silent Auction.
Live Music plays during the race, on the course and in the Made in Bisbee Marketplace. The Made in Bisbee Marketplace features many local and visiting artisans displaying and selling their work. Food, Refreshments and Beer will also be available here.
On Sunday, Turquoise Valley Golf, Restaurant and RV Hosts its Annual Bisbee 1000 Golf Tournament!
Save Our Stairs Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization committed to playing a positive role in community development by providing/supporting initiatives that promote healthy, active living in Cochise County. We accomplish this through our efforts to preserve and maintain the historic stairways of Old Bisbee through an annual fitness festival, the Bisbee 1000 - The Great Stair Climb Fundraiser, proceeds of which are used to support healthy, active living programs in Bisbee, Cochise County and all of Arizona.
The Bisbee 1000 is always the third weekend in October!
