Hans Decoz Studio and residence: Born in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, Decoz worked for a ceramic studio for two years and studied graphic design at the Academy of Fine Arts for one year after which he globetrotted for a few years before coming to the USA. He considers himself mostly self-taught. |

Hans works with Death Valley Clay and mid- and high-fire homemade glazes. Decoz also dabbles in graphic and web design, writes numerology software programs, articles and BLOGS (co-authored Numerology; Key to Your Inner Self, with Tom Monte), and produces poetry whenever the feeling strikes. |
